Alex Anthopoulos meets with the media to wrap up the 2026 season and talk about the offseason

Alex Anthopoulos, General Manager and President of Baseball Operations for the Atlanta Braves, met with the media on Sunday, October 11th and discussed the end of the season and how the offseason might unfold.

I’m anxious to get with the other 29 clubs. Obviously, there’s four in the playoffs right now. So each year, there’s always a surprise or two of, hey, quietly, we might talk about so-and-so and things like that.

And then you never know where that leads. So that’s the best I can give you with that stuff. We get to the GM meetings.

I’ll have a little more clarity. I’ll know a little bit more, maybe be a little more clear on things we’re going to look to do. – Alex Anthopoulos
