Home opener on Friday, April 2 after six-game trip to begin season
ATLANTA (Thursday, July 16, 2026) – The Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball today released their schedules for the 2027 season. Atlanta is set to begin the regular season on Thursday, March 25, at the Los Angeles Dodgers, part of a six-game, seven-day road trip to open its campaign. Following a scheduled day off on Friday, March 26, the Braves will complete their series at Dodger Stadium before a three-game series at the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Braves will open their home slate at Truist Park on Friday, April 2 versus the Houston Astros, and will wrap up their seven-game opening homestand with four games against the San Francisco Giants.
Atlanta is once again set to play at least one series against every team in Major League Baseball, continuing the balanced schedule that was introduced prior to the 2023 season. In addition to playing home-and-home series against each National League team, the Braves will play one three-game set against every American League club except Boston, against whom Atlanta will play a pair of three-game slates. The Braves and Red Sox will first face each other at Truist Park, May 18-20, before three games at Fenway Park from July 16-18 in their first series after the All-Star break.
The Braves will play 12 of their final 18 games at home in the month of September, including a six-game homestand to end the season against the Washington Nationals (September 21-23) and Miami Marlins (September 24-26).
Atlanta is set to host the Pittsburgh Pirates over Memorial Day weekend from May 28-30, the New York Yankees on Father’s Day weekend from June 18-20, and the Los Angeles Angels on the weekend of July 4th.
A finalized schedule with complete start times will be released at a later date, along with the team’s promotional schedule. The schedule is subject to change.
