David Epps just recently took over for the legendary Gary Stokan as CEO of the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, and it’s time to check in to see what can we look forward to with this year’s game!

If there’s one thing college football has taught us since COVID, it’s that change is constant and inevitable, and we’re going to continue to see that, and especially in these neutral site games like the ones you’re talking about, with the conferences going to nine game schedules, with teams making huge investments in their home stadiums and entertainment districts, and frankly, the coaches just needing wins because that’s what the College Football Playoff Selection Committee is valuing right now. It’s a balance to find an opportunity where we can get good teams to come to Atlanta, play on a big stage in the AFLAC kickoff game, but they’ve also got to balance that with what drives the most revenue for their programs. – David Epps
