Dane Brugler, NFL Draft Analyst for The Athletic, joined Chuck & Chernoff to preview the 2026 NFL Draft. With only 5 picks and no first rounders, they’ll see what the Falcons’ options are in the 2nd round, examine the possibility of a trade to move up, who and what positions they could be targeting, and more!
Haynes King, he’s in that late round range. I think there’s a lot to like about the toughness that he plays with, the intelligence that he brings to a quarterback room, and all the intangibles are there, obviously. Son of a coach and all that kind of good stuff. I think somewhere in those late rounds, whether it’s going to be a team looking to kind of fill out their quarterback room, I think Haynes King is going to be one of the more attractive guys.
