We’re welcoming the warm weather and the green of spring on the links at Bear’s Best to benefit First Tee of Atlanta! Enjoy a round of golf at Bear’s Best, a collection of recreations of the greatest holes ever designed by Jack Nicklaus! Plus, participants will enjoy on-course contests, have a chance to win great stuff in our Post-Round Raffle, bid on sports memorabilia in the silent auction, enjoy a trophy presentation, and finish the day with a delicious dinner!
First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. We’re Building Game Changers through our junior golf programs.
Celebrate the return of Football Season with 680 The Fan at the Tailgate Golf Classic!
Enjoy a round of golf with 680 The Fan and Sports personalities at Atlanta National Golf Club, one of the area’s premier golf courses! In addition to golf, participants will enjoy on course contests “Closest to the Pin” and “Longest Drive,” have a chance at some great 680 The Fan Prizes with the Post-Round Raffle, be able to bid on some incredible sports memorabilia in the silent auction, enjoy a trophy presentation, and dine on a fantastic dinner to finish off the day!
This event is a benefit for the L.E.A.D. Center for Youth, a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization operating in Atlanta. Through sport-based youth development (SBYD) programming, they’re inspiring and equipping young Black males with the empowerment they need to live lives of significance. Baseball is the tool to teach these at-risk youth how to overcome the curveballs that threaten their personal success: crime, poverty, and racism.
