You go back to the playoffs over even the last five, six, seven years, and there seems to be a team that can get on a hot run late in September and carry that momentum through the playoffs. And there’s been other teams, like when the Rangers ended up winning the World Series, they lost the division on the last day and then somehow fought their way back through the wildcard round. So it depends on the team.

You know, you’ve seen this Braves team get the bye week and struggled to pick it up after those four days off of not seeing live pitching. So I don’t know what the perfect formula is. I just know that this team needs to be playing good baseball midway through September through the end.
