Ilham Askia serves as the President & CEO of the East Lake Foundation where she is responsible for leading the Foundation’s strategic vision and ongoing work with East Lake Initiative partners. Today, she joined Nick and Chris to tell listeners more about the Foundation’s mission.
We are cradle to college and career, so our young people are just knocking it out of the park or knocking it across the golf course as we are, because we are at Tour Championship. And I just want to brag, of course, on our education continuum with Drew Charter School now having an average 98% graduation rate. And we just celebrated our 10th graduating class in May of 2026. So that means there’s a group of adults now who can actually pay it forward, hopefully, from the lessons they’ve learned here.
