Chris Womack, Chairman, President & CEO Southern Company joins us to discuss the upcoming TOUR Championship which starts next Thursday at East Lake, the Payne Stewart Award presented by Southern Company, which was awarded to our dear friend Notah Begay, and much MORE about the event!
So he had no idea what we were doing. And when you saw the look on his face, when you see his voice begin to crumble and tears begin to show up, and then you had Dan Hicks, you had Mike Tirico, you had Gary Koch, you had Brad Sachs and a bunch of other Payne Stewart Award winners, but also that broadcast team there with him. Everybody in the set stood up and applauded him.
It was just such an emotionally moving moment that’s something that I’ll never forget. And so we’re thrilled to have Nota as this year’s Payne Stewart Award recipient.
