Braves win the series! A 6-5 win in the final game of the 4-game series vs San Diego gives the Braves the final advantage over the Padres as we go to Baltimore for a weekend series. Chris Sale gave up 3 earned in the first inning then wouldn’t allow a run afterwards, and would strike out the side in the 6th to total 11 K’s and his 11th win on the year. The lead in the NL East goes back to 4.5 games. On to Baltimore.

The Ford Leadoff Show kicks off at 6:00p with first pitch scheduled for 7:05p. Atlanta will throw out Grant Holmes (6-4, 3.70 ERA) as the Orioles will have Trevor Rogers (6-7, 4.28 ERA) to start their home weekend series vs the Bravos.
