Ron Washington – Former Braves 3rd Base Coach, World Series Champ

He’s as OG as it gets and Braves fans will never forget what he did to help us in 2021 win a World Series Championship.  Ron Washington is now with the San Francisco Giants and joins Cellini & Dimino to talk about what it’s like to coach in today’s game vs. the past, the Braves season so far, and what he’s up to with the Giants.

The guys in the game today, they’re coming up so fast. until there’s no one around them to teach them what that means. There’s no one around them to call them on things that they do that’s disrespectful, that they don’t realize is disrespectful, because what they’re doing is all they’ve ever done, and they never got corrected for it. So that’s really what’s happening. And it’s hard today to try to correct them, because you start correcting them, you’re hurting their feelings. And you can’t be playing the game of baseball worried about feelings.
