Houston Cougars HC Kelvin Sampson Talks up the Hawks’ First Round Pick Kingston Flemings

Kelvin Sampson coached our Atlanta Hawks draft pick Kingston Flemings at Houston and gives us the skinny on what we can expect from our newest point guard.  Oh, and Coach Sampson grew up a Braves fan!

Point guard is a unique position. It’s like a lot of guys try to take a wide receiver that’s got a good arm and say, “Hey, he’d be a good quarterback.” 
 
 No, he won’t. He doesn’t know how to play quarterback. Kingston is a point guard. He’s not a combo. He’s not a two. He is a point guard.
