Our friend Doug Glanville was here in Atlanta on Saturday working Brewers-Braves and then in Philly for Sunday Night Baseball between the Phillies & Mets. Find out what he has to say about each team, and what he thinks will happen once they meet later this year!
Yeah, it feels like forever, but all the seeds are planted now. The run that teams are going to have to go on to really decide to be buyers is happening now. And that’s, you know, you get to the all-star break and then you’re deep into the second half.
And these are the moments. And you think back to the Braves World Championship, you know, Acuna goes down and Anthopoulos goes and gets like the entire outfield plus one. And that became the difference maker. Anthopoulos is going to be all in and whatever happens, he’s going to try to find a way. And they have a great team right now. So Braves are playing well.
