On this episode of “Buck’s Beat,” Buck Belue is joined by former Falcons wide receiver Brian Finneran to preview the upcoming Buck Belue Quarterback Camp and discuss what young quarterbacks and receivers can expect from the experience. Buck and Fin stress the importance of developing chemistry between quarterbacks and receivers, mastering route-running and catching techniques, and learning how to play multiple positions within an offense. So we’ll be throwing it short, intermediate and deep, working on all three areas there. And what we’re going to do this year, Finn, we’re going to have these receivers. We’re going to plug it up where they’re going to be at the different positions X, Z and the slot.
And always love seeing a receiver working out of the running back position, third and long situations when you have to throw the ball, play a little catch up, have that receiver at the running back spot. Uh, don’t want these guys just lined up at one receiver spot. We want them working all over the field.
