Chris Doering, former Florida Gator WR, joined “The Locker Room” LIVE at the Bobby Dodd Golf Tournament to talk about College Football in 2026, the new Gators Head Coach down in the Swamp, Georgia and Kirby Smart, and MORE!
I think it’s amazing how things work out the way they’re supposed to work out. Everybody down there was dead set, it had to be Lane Kiffin. And when Florida kind of pivoted and said they were not going to continue to pursue Coach Kiffin, everybody was in an uproar.
And then this summer, all the stuff comes out. You get to see him in front of the press. Everywhere he’s been, you talk to folks and they were like, “Man, we would have loved to have had him here.” So he’s got the pedigree as a player and a coach. And I think he’s clearly got the expectation level high for Florida fans.
