Former Falcons WR Roddy White, joined The Locker Room at the Warrick Dunn 13th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament, to talk about whether the Falcons will go with Penix or Tua, the new Drake London deal, Michael Penix Jr.’s progression as a QB in the NFL, and the new look and feel of the Atlanta Falcons under the new administration!
Just probably the physicality, everything that needed to be done from a physical standpoint on the football field, man. It needed a change, you know what I’m saying? And I think they’re headed in that direction. And then in front of leadership standpoint is very important. You know, on a football field, we just got to find those guys that’s willing to lead, just not like… by your actions, know what I’m saying? Like Bijan is a great player on the field and he leads by going out there and executing the game plan. But we need guys that’s in the locker room holding people accountable and then going out there on the field and holding people accountable and making sure we’re taking the necessary steps to be a good football team.
