Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcon President of Football and former QB, joined “The Locker Room” at East Lake Golf Club for the Camp Twin Lakes Golf Tournament and talked about the QB competition headed into the season, what he wants to see out of the rookie class, how involved has he been and will be with the offense, the move to the Front Office, and some of the exciting pieces the 2026 Falcons picked up!
Mike’s in a good spot right now. So as far as expectations, we don’t really know what to expect at the beginning of training camp. But I think with the way both of those guys are working and the conversations we’ve had with both of them about, I believe quarterbacks should be the most competitive people on your team, whether that’s first, second, third, whatever that may be. There’s a way to go out there and compete and to attack the day. But there’sthere’s also a way to put it away when you go back in. And that’s not only the quarterback position group, that’s all of them, right? Guys want to be on the field. We kind of respect and appreciate that. And so I think the way both those guys have started the offseason, I think it’ll put us in a good spot.
