The Braves’ Matt Olson walked it off in dramatic fashion last night against the Tigers. Get the details on this huge win for Atlanta!
Plus: The Hawks will try to force a game 7 against the Knicks and we know the Falcons opponents, but soon we’ll know how the 2026 schedule will look!
I thought there were so many parts of this game that were interesting to talk about, including J.R. Ritchie, who started for the Braves, his second career start. He went five and a third, gave up five hits, three runs, two of those earned, one of them on a throwing error, on a throw to first base. Four walks and four Ks. I’d bet J.R. would tell you it didn’t have his best stuff, but he did find a way to battle to keep his team in the game. Around the four walks, around the error, the five hits. So I thought he was pretty good.
