The Clemson Football coach joined Heath Cline on Saturday to talk about the Atlanta Falcons selecting Avion Terrell with their second-round pick. Swinney described how the brother of the Falcons’ A.J Terrell has developed since attending his camp in 10th grade and called the new Falcons cornerback “a wrecking ball when it comes to getting the ball out.”
He is a relentless, relentless competitor. Just a no-nonsense guy. He’s a low-maintenance star player. He just shows up, does the work, loves to practice, loves to prepare, again, loves to compete. And again, obviously, he’s got great bloodlines there. And what an amazing story for AJ and AV to be playing together. It’s really cool for me. I mean, when I recruited AJ, I think AV was in like the 6th or 7th grade. And now, for them to be playing for the Falcons together, it’s just crazy to see it all happen, and I’m thankful to be a part of the journey with them.
