He’s a busy man this time of year with three NBA playoff games in five days, including Game 1 of the Hawks-Knicks series on Saturday night! Ian Eagle joins us with some great stories & perspective, and breaks down the Hawks and Knicks.
Yeah, just a lot of curiosity on how this one will play out because the Atlanta team that we see today is not the Atlanta team that we necessarily saw throughout the regular season.
It’s funny how it works in the NBA because if you are just amongst the group that’s not considered a real contender, people tend to just overlook you. And yeah, they’ll maybe look at some box scores or watch some highlights, but they’re not really paying attention to what you’re doing unless you go on the kind of streak that the Hawks went on post all-star break. And you feel it around NBA circles where people now started getting a little bit more interested in what Atlanta was was doing as they hit the home winning streak at 13 prior to the Knicks loss.
