April 2, 2026 – Atlanta, GA — The Atlanta Falcons launched today new primary uniforms that the team will wear starting with the 2026 season. The new uniforms honor the team’s rich history while also reflecting excitement for the future. Red once again serves as the central element of the Falcons’ primary home jersey symbolizing passion, intensity, and swagger; qualities that have long been associated with Falcons football and a distinctive connection to Atlanta. The full uniform closet features the new primary uniforms alongside the team’s 1966-inspired throwback uniform.
“Atlanta has always been a city that moves with purpose, and our team is being built the same way,” said Falcons President and CEO, Greg Beadles. “These uniforms are intentionally timeless. They honor the past, reflect who we are today, and signal a new era powered by a young, exciting team ready to compete.”
“Red has always meant something different in Atlanta. It’s when our best football has been played, where this city has shown its heart, and when I experienced the greatest moments of my career,” says President of Football, Matt Ryan. “When you put on red, you feel the history, the pride, and the energy that comes with being a Falcon. Bringing it back honors what’s been built here and fueling what’s coming next, which I’m very excited for our fans to see.”
The Falcons’ new uniforms were developed with a clear philosophy: create an enduring design that feels classic on-field, authentic to Atlanta, and unmistakably Falcons. Built using Nike’s Vapor F.U.S.E. chassis, the jerseys feature lightweight, recyclable performance fabric with targeted perforation zones designed to keep players cool and mobile on game day.
“Our goal was to create a uniform that lasts, one that reflects the city, the team, and our future,” said Shannon Joyner, vice president and chief marketing officer of the Atlanta Falcons. “Every detail was designed to feel authentic to our DNA and feels unmistakably Falcons the moment you put it on.”
