Greg McMichael, former Atlanta Braves Pitcher and now Senior Director of Alumni Relations & Growing the Game, joined The Locker Room and talked about the upcoming Braves Fantasy Camp, which John Michaels will be attending, the Retirement of snit and Hiring of Walt Weiss as the New Manager, Braves supporting youth baseball and softball including Braves Country Baseball and Softball, clinics, and showcases!
Snit, you know, his dedication to the Braves his whole career is nothing short of amazing. When you think about, he’s been a touch every level of our organization. So, so proud of him. I’ve been in communication with him since he’s retired, and obviously we’re going to put him to work. We’re excited that he will continue to be a great spokesperson for the Atlanta Braves, obviously, since Alex is keeping him on board. Even if he wasn’t, I would be calling him a lot and having him involved.
And then, of course, Walt, former teammate of mine, same way I feel about him as far as understanding of the game, playing it for as many years as he did, championship teams, and then being there on our staff for the last, you know, eight or nine years.
