Recently, big name coaches like Trent Dilfer, Jay Norvell, Mike Gundy and others found themselves in this position and today, super agent Hadley Engelhard takes us through the process of what happens with coaches like these who get fired mid-season and enlightens listeners on his role in helping a coach he represents get another job ASAP!
There are a lot of things that go into play when a coach is fired mid-season and you start to think about what’s next. And the most important thing for all these coaches is their contracts are all guaranteed, and so the one thing they don’t have to worry about, especially the head coaches, is being poor and not being able to pay the light bill tomorrow. They’re all going to be fine.
