Volleyball... if you’re paying attention in college sports, you’re seeing it everywhere, and the ratings are off the charts and on the professional level, we’ve had the Pro Volleyball Federation that has been underway for two seasons. We just completed our second season, and we’ve got some competitors in the market and one of the competitors was talking about launching a new league next year as well, and rather than compete with us, we are unifying with that group and we’re changing from Pro Volleyball Federation because we like their name a little bit better, so we’re rebranded as Major League Volleyball.

In a landmark move for the sport, Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF) and Major League Volleyball have announced plans for a single, united league poised to elevate professional women’s volleyball in the United States. The unified league will be branded as MLV, having the Atlanta Vibe continuing its third season in the newly branded league.
