ATLANTA – The Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball today released their schedules for the 2026 season. Atlanta is set to begin the regular season on Thursday, March 26, versus the Kansas City Royals, part of a six-game, seven-day homestand to open its campaign. Following a scheduled day off on Friday, March 27, the Braves will conclude their opening homestand with two final games against the Royals and a three-game series versus the Athletics.
The Braves will open at Truist Park for just the third time in stadium history, and the first time since beginning their World Series defense in 2022.
Atlanta will once again play at least one series against every team in Major League Baseball, continuing the balanced schedule that was introduced prior to the 2023 season. In addition to playing each National League team, the Braves will play one three-game series against every American League club except Boston, against whom Atlanta will play a pair of three-game series. Both series versus Boston will occur over a 14-day period in May, first with three games at Truist Park from May 15-17, before a three-game trip to Fenway Park, May 26-28.
The Braves will play 15 of their final 24 games on the road in the month of September, and will play just three of their last 12 games at Truist Park. Atlanta is slated to end its scheduled home campaign with three games versus the Cincinnati Reds from September 22-24, before playing its final three games of the season in Miami, September 25-27.
Other notable home dates include a three-game series versus the Washington Nationals over Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-24, a Father’s Day matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers on June 21, and an Independence Day affair versus the New York Mets on July 4.
A finalized schedule with complete start times will be released at a later date, along with the team’s promotional schedule. The schedule is subject to change.
