My shelf life there was done and it was kind of just with the season and ultimately the injury at the end and just how kind of everything unfolded. It ultimately just led to me needing a new start, needing a fresh start somewhere else. And I always tell everyone I’m so appreciative and thankful of my time there. I mean, I was there for five years like that’s almost 1/4 of my life.
Having coach smart, you know, being my head coach and the valuable, invaluable lessons that I was able to learn from him, not only as a football player, but also as a human, to have one of the greatest college football coaches be my head coach was invaluable. I’m always appreciative of my time there and the relationships I was able to build. But like I said, it was. It was just time for a fresh start, and that’s kind of just how everything unfolded.
