You look at the series of events that have taken place throughout the course of this season. The 0 – 7 start, Profar’s suspension, Spencer Strider’s hammy, A.J. Smith-Shawver’s season–ending injury, Marcel’s hip, and now Chris Sale, where we were trying to be optimistic and saying this might be a four-to-six-week thing, and now it’s obvious that it’s so much more than that. At some point, you just begin to wonder... maybe this isn’t our year. Again, I hope I’m wrong, but it’s just one thing after another, after another, after another.
