Dan Corso: President Atlanta Sports Council on World Cup In the ATL

Yeah, it’s very similar to a lot of CFP and… and Super Bowls and and NCAA tournaments, but it’s also quite different because we’ve never hosted World Cup here in Atlanta. Believe it or not, we’ve had everything else, including the Olympics going back to ‘96, but not FIFA World Cup. If you recall, the last time the men’s world. Cup was in the US was in 1994. And they utilized 9 host cities. Well, Atlanta was not one of those host cities at that time.
