ATLANTA – The Atlanta Braves today officially set their 26-man roster for Opening Day. The final roster includes 13 pitchers, two catchers, five infielders, five outfielders and one designated hitter.
The roster includes seven players who will be wearing a Braves jersey for the first time in their career this year, including OF Jurickson Profar. Atlanta signed the 2024 NL All-Star and Silver Slugger award winner to a three-year contract on January 23.

The roster includes six players making their first Opening Day roster. RHPs Daysbel Hernández, Grant Holmes, Spencer Schwellenbach and AJ Smith-Shawver, as well as C Chadwick Tromp, are all doing so after appearing with Atlanta last season, while C Drake Baldwin will make his major league debut with his first appearance of the season.
