Drake (Baldwin) is done amazing! He’s been more than I thought that he could be when it comes to making this decision, this isn’t a Snit decision or anything like that. They asked these starting pitchers, “Who do you like working with?”
And intentionally they had him working with every pitcher in the starting rotation and he’s done extremely well and he’s got thumbs up from everybody in the rotation, that’s enough for Snit, so I know it’s not official, but I expect him to be the opening day starter behind the plate and then whomever else you have as your other catcher, you could platoon those guys depending on facing righty or lefty that day. He’s done a wonderful job and he’s checked every single box!
