There will be special opportunities for families to meet Braves mascot BLOOPER, Hope and Will, Buzz and Hairy Dawg during the game.
Since its inception, Spring Classic between the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech has raised more than $4 million dollars for Children’s and the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.
“Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is excited to partner with the Atlanta Braves for the return of Spring Classic at Truist Park,” said Linda Matzigkeit, Chief Administrative Officer at Children’s. “We look forward to having our patient families and the community cheer on these hometown rivals and support Children’s.”
“We are thrilled to host and welcome Spring Classic back to Truist Park for some local baseball rivalry,” said Jim Allen, Senior Vice President of Corporate and Premium Partnerships at the Atlanta Braves. “This collaboration with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta creates an incredible opportunity to highlight the game at a collegiate level on a major league stage while building community through baseball to make an impact for local patients and their families.”
