NCAA’s First “Gothlete” Strikes a Pose, Stefon Diggs’ Pregnant DM Drama & Cancel RJ Hampton

Nora Hayd, NCAA’s First “Gothlete,” Makes Social Media Waves

ATLANTA – Boise State’s beach volleyball team is serving up more than spikes this season! Among the sun-kissed, sand-loving players, one athlete has stepped into the spotlight with a look that’s leaving opponents—and the internet—shook. Meet Nora Hayd, the first-ever “gothlete” in the NCAA, whose recent team headshot has launched her to viral fame.

When the Boise State Broncos released their 2024/2025 team photos, fans were quick to notice Nora’s one-of-a-kind style. Imagine Billie Eilish meets Morticia Addams—with pink hair that fades into jet black, nose jewelry that rivals a rockstar’s, and a cat-eye so sharp it could probably block a spike. Hayd says she just wants to bring her true self to the court. “I’m just out here to be me and show that goths can crush it at beach volleyball too,” she told the New York Times. Now that’s a whole new kind of set!

The social media reaction? Pure goth gold:

· “I’m not just a Boise State fan, I’m a Boise State stan now.”

· “Do they sell jerseys? This is a merch emergency.”

And if you were wondering, yes, Hot Topic wasted zero time reaching out. Goth merch on the beach? It’s a look.

Stefon Diggs and the Pregnant DM Drama of the Century

Meanwhile, NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs is back in the gossip column, and this time it involves a little celebrity love triangle. Rumor has it that Cardi B, yes, THE Cardi B, was allegedly DMing Diggs back when she was eight months pregnant with her third child, all because she wanted to give her husband Offset a taste of his own medicine. Classic Cardi, right?

Apparently, this all went down when Cardi, fed up with Offset’s cheating, decided that a little payback was in order. While DJ Akademiks dropped this bombshell on his podcast, Diggs went straight to social media damage control, making his Instagram private and reducing his once-boisterous feed to a meager three posts. Sometimes, even star athletes need a little “privacy setting” in their lives!

Cancel RJ Hampton

Last, but certainly not least, in the land of TikTok drama, NBA G-League star RJ Hampton has people glued to their screens for a reason that isn’t basketball-related. His ex, Tiff Jeffcoat, recently accused him of some jaw-dropping behavior. In a series of TikToks that racked up nearly 10 million views, she tearfully claimed that Hampton “kidnapped” their young son, leaving her stranded in Oklahoma.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any messier, she followed up with another video—secretly recorded, of course—where Hampton reportedly admits to laying hands on her. This is the first and last time you will hear his name come out of my mouth (keyboard), because he simply does not deserve the attention he is getting this week. My thoughts are with Tiff and her baby, Halo.
