Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce: Two Games, One Missing Pop Star, and Zero Breakups
Alright, Swifties and Chiefs fans, the rumor mill is spinning faster than Travis Kelce’s sprints down the field. Yes, Taylor Swift missed not one, but two Chiefs away games in a row, and the internet did what it does best—imploded into speculation.
For those keeping score at home: Taylor was front and center for the first two home games, probably crafting her next multi-platinum single about football. But then… gasp… she missed the game against the Atlanta Falcons and, even worse, the LA Rams. The Swiftnado of rumors immediately whipped into full force, with theories ranging from “She’s rehearsing for her tour” to “OMG, they’re done! Love is dead!” (Because obviously, if Taylor misses a game, the relationship must be on life support, right?)
Things got even juicier when some “allegedly leaked document” claimed they were supposed to break up the day before her second missed game. I mean, who even leaks breakup schedules? Are we sending Google Calendar invites for heartbreaks now?
Swifties were quick to jump to her defense: “Relax! She’s busy planning her world tour or maybe just chilling!” Meanwhile, the rest of us sat nervously refreshing Twitter. But fear not, Entertainment Tonight (aka Tree Paine’s favorite gossip outlet) has squashed the rumors, confirming Taylor and Travis are still very much together. Crisis averted!
My prediction? Taylor will 100% show up at the next Chiefs home game, perhaps dramatically descending from the rafters, Beyoncé style, just to shut down the breakup rumors. She’ll probably release a new single titled, “Tight End, Full Heart” shortly after.
Jeremy Lamb: From NBA Courts to Romcom Territory
In other news, former NBA star Jeremy Lamb decided to hard-launch his love life on Instagram, and let me tell you, it’s giving major Netflix romcom vibes. Jeremy has been cozying up with none other than Anjali Ranadivé, daughter of Sacramento Kings owner Vivek Ranadivé. It’s like a classic “rich girl meets athlete” love story, but with a G-League twist.
Anjali isn’t just your typical rich kid, though. She’s 32, former General Manager of the Kings’ G-League team (so, like, way more successful than most of us), and left her post in January to “pursue other ventures.” Could those ventures include dating former NBA players? Perhaps.
Coincidence or carefully planned serendipity? After all, Jeremy joined the Kings in 2022, only to be waived and then welcomed back with open arms in November, right around the time Anjali stepped down from her role. Hmm… sounds like a setup straight out of “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” territory.
Either way, they’re officially Instagram official, which means it’s real in 2024 terms. We’ll be waiting for the Netflix adaptation of their love story, starring Jeremy as himself and maybe Priyanka Chopra as Anjali (because why not dream big?).
Tyreek Hill: Is There a Kid Cap in the NFL?
Lastly, let’s talk about the NFL’s real MVP—Tyreek Hill—who is apparently making touchdowns off the field too. The man’s speed isn’t limited to the gridiron; it extends to, well, fatherhood. He’s currently expecting his first child with his wife, which sounds lovely until you realize that this is just baby #8. Yep, you heard me—Tyreek Hill is already a father to seven other kids with five different women. And those are just the ones we know about. Rumors suggest the number could be as high as 10.
Now, let’s not judge too quickly. Some of the moms say Tyreek’s a stand-up dad, while others, uh… don’t have quite the same glowing reviews. And Tyreek himself? He’s on record saying, “It doesn’t matter how many kids I have,” which is the same energy I have when I tell myself it doesn’t matter how many cookies I eat during a Netflix binge. Spoiler: it does matter, Tyreek.
Here’s the question I’m wrestling with—does this have any impact on how we view him as a player? My boyfriend insists it doesn’t matter (because touchdowns apparently cancel out fatherhood drama), but I’m not so sure. There’s something about a literal football team-sized family that makes me rethink those Sunday highlights.
At this rate, Tyreek Hill could start his own youth league team—and probably win that championship too.
