ATLANTA (May 25, 2022) – Sports Innovation Lab (SIL), a sports research firm, named the Atlanta Braves seventh overall and number one in Major League Baseball on their annual Most Innovative Teams in the World report. Seven of the top ten are European soccer clubs. According to Abe Stein, Head of Innovation for SIL, there were three metrics which went into each team’s score, which were quantitatively measured using data they collected, then individually weighted and rolled up into a team score.
