Braves set for their second season at CoolToday Park
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball today announced the club’s 2021 spring training schedule. The 2021 spring season will mark Atlanta’s second at CoolToday Park in North Port, Fla., and will feature 17 home games at the facility. Atlanta’s 33-game exhibition slate will begin on Saturday, February 27, with a road game against the Baltimore Orioles.
The Braves will play their CoolToday Park 2021 opener on Monday, March 1, with a game against the Washington Nationals.
Atlanta will host 11 different teams at CoolToday Park, including three games versus the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox, and two games each against the Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays. The Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays and Washington Nationals will make one visit each to North Port.
Atlanta will conclude its spring schedule with a home-and-home exhibition series in Florida versus the Boston Red Sox on March 29 and March 30, before opening the 2021 regular season in Philadelphia on April 1. The Braves are set to open the regular season on the road for the fourth time in five seasons.
Season tickets and group sales for the 2021 spring season are now available, and individual game tickets will go on sale at a date yet to be determined. A-List and Beach Club Members will receive the first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets.
