Mike Hargrove – Indians ’95 World Series Head Coach

FILE – In this Sept. 30, 1998, file photo, Cleveland Indians manager Mike Hargrove gives home plate umpire Joe Brinkman, left, an earful as catcher Sandy Alomar listens after Brinkman ejected Hargrove from Game 2 of the AL Division Series in Cleveland. Thirty years ago, Hargrove earned his nickname as “The Human Rain Delay” for his lengthy, detailed pre-swing routine at the plate. He captained one heck of a Cleveland team back in 1995 and to this day still praises Bobby Cox and the boys for what they did in defeating his Indians to claim our first ever world championship!
