just want to point out that Missouri has Ole Miss on the road and Texas A&M at home so they very easily could lose two more games. I would think South Carolina might have the best shot at the SEC championship.  Alabama has now had plenty of time to get their new players up to standards and though think they will have two test, L.S.U. and Auburn, I expect them to win and play in the National Championship. One thing people forget is they have a coach who can keep high scoring offenses like Oregon off the field if they can establish their running game and work on defense. Texas A& M would not score 42 on them today.

Falcons sold themselves  on a false prophecy of being 10 yds from SB this year. No homework or lack of diligence related to the offensive line in off season was going to result in improving this team. Clabo and McClure are sorely missed.

The tissue-thin veil of how this team reached the NFC Championship last year was no secret to anybody on this year's schedule, especially the teams the Falcons barely beat last year.

Am a devoted fan, but it is difficult to be optimistic about the coming NFL seasons, with the apparent pace and rapidity of our beloved organization's decline from just from last year. This City deserves so much better considering the local economy's investments being made for this team. A  long-suffering fan base, are the fans who have held a persistent vigil in hopes of winning. It is beyond sad. It is pitiful.

Sure was great to have Steven Jackson back wasn't it.  Wow, a cool 0.5 yards per carry.  If I'm not mistaken, that is a grand total of 45 yards over the last two games in 32 carries.  That has got to be an NFL record for futility of some sort, doesn't it?

News flash.  The verdict has just come in.  And the decision is a resounding YES - the NFL is indeed ready for Chip Kelly's high powered offense, just like LSU and Auburn were, as will Alabama later this season.

Let's be honest here folks.  Take the Falcons starting lineups and look at each individual player right now, and besides Ryan, Gonzalez, Jackson (?), Ocie, and maybe Truffant, you have a bunch of journeyman players, including many who would not be starting for most teams.   As Herm Edwards, once said, "We are who we are"  and who we are is a 2-5 team which will be very lucky to win 6 games this year.

Oh, and finally, all those Falcon fans who haven't washed their lucky jerseys for eons, as described in the Bud Lite commercial, can wash 'em now - it ain't workin'!!!

Nothing like playing baseball, wearing six layers of clothing like Ralphie's brother in "A Christmas Story" is there?  Jeez, when are they going to cut the season and/or the playoffs.  This is ridiculous - another reason baseball is dying.  If it goes seven, it will finish the last day in October.   Idiotic
