First time ever e-mailing a sports talk program but you folks have an opportunity to change Atlanta Football...

Your station needs to setup an on-line petition to STRONGLY ENCOURAGE Tony Gonzalez to return for 2013. Lead the effort to keep him in uniform another year. The "closeness" of a Super Bowl and an extreme Atlanta effort to show Tony what he means to this city could sway his decision.

680 could have as much of a role in sending the Falcons to the Super Bowl as Thomas D. if you are successful in getting Tony to stay.

A station rep should make sure Tony gets an update every week for the entire off season so he truly understand how much this town admires what he has done on and off the field. In a era where role models are far too infrequent, 680 should drive the effort to keep one of the best football role models in the public eye for at least one more year.

Listen to you guys every morning and Chuck and Chernoff in the evenings. Get tired of listening to you folks taking shots at each other so remember many of your listeners listen to both programs every day. When you talk sports nobody is better...

My sympathies to all the fans who had to struggle through the Falcon’s loss yesterday in that relic of a stadium.

 

I think they would have enjoyed it much more, in a billion dollar castle.

 

So, please, as I struggle to pay my bills from month to month, feel free to take tax money from me to fund a more comfortable fortress for the chosen few who can afford to attend such a game.

Morning Rude, I understand this morning is difficult at best, but can someone please tell Perry to dial things back a little? I can usually stomach his know-it-allism, but I'm not sure the rest of us as listeners are in the mood for his lengthy monologues or Bill Parcell like mastery and incredible understanding of the coaching profession.
